The Crayon Puzzle Car project challenged us to construct a puzzle box comprising at least four components crafted from diverse materials and utilizing various machines. I opted to create a toy car that incorporates a functional crayon element for drawing purposes.
The car's top section is fabricated from plastic, employing a 3D printing process. The body of the car is skillfully crafted from wood using a milling machine, while the wheels are meticulously laser cut from black acrylic board. As for the front part of the toy, I chose to incorporate a crayon element. This component was created by melting crayons and casting them in a triangular mold, resulting in a unique and engaging feature for young artists to utilize during playtime.
