The objective of this project is to create a livable space for individuals who are unable to afford a full-sized apartment. This space serves as a temporary residence while they await permanent housing from the government. It aims to provide a comfortable room that can accommodate a person's essential daily needs.
-Many individuals in Hong Kong living below the poverty line endure extremely poor living conditions, where the space available to them is insufficient even for basic movement. These cramped quarters, measuring a mere 342 feet, are commonly referred to as coffin rooms or cage homes. Numerous people are forced to inhabit such small spaces, resulting in inadequate windows, poor air circulation, and heightened fire hazards.
-To make the room more cost effective, Each room can divided into four section and the price of the room would be divided by four, making every space equal prices.
-The panels in the middle should be easily removable for a flexible living environment.
To maximize cost-effectiveness, each room can be divided into four sections, with the price of the room divided equally among these sections. This ensures equitable pricing for every individual occupying the space. Additionally, the panels in the middle of the room should be easily removable, allowing for a flexible living environment that can adapt to different spatial needs.
Efforts are made to enhance the comfort of the individual within the confined space of a single room. Each piece of the design is molded, and the overall layout is symmetrical to minimize the requirement for extensive molding processes.
